NaijaFlix is the new free streaming platform built specifically for Nigerians and lovers of Nigerian content. In a country where high internet data costs stop people from enjoying videos, NaijaFlix is changing the game by making Gospel, Comedy, Nollywood, Cooking and Talent videos completely free to watch.
WHAT IS NAIJAFLIX?
NaijaFlix is a video streaming website owned by Anthony Umoru Tech Services, CAC Registration Number 9644551. Our goal is simple: give Nigerians free access to quality local content while giving Nigerian creators a platform to grow their audience and earn money.
Unlike Netflix or YouTube that eat data, NaijaFlix is designed to be free for viewers. We achieve this through our partnership application with MTN Cloud Partners. MTN pays platforms that drive data traffic. This means our users can watch "Hustle go pay", "Theophilus Sunday talking show", and "Cooking kitchen" without worrying about data.
THE 2 BIG PROBLEMS NAIJAFLIX IS SOLVING
PROBLEM 1: DATA COST
According to NCC, the average Nigerian spends 40% of their data on video. A 10 minute video can cost ₦200 in data. Most Nigerians cannot afford to binge watch. NaijaFlix removes this completely. Because of our MTN Cloud Partners application, all streaming on videos.naijaflix.site is treated as partner data. Free for you.
PROBLEM 2: NO PLATFORM FOR SMALL CREATORS
YouTube takes 45% of ad money. TikTok pays almost nothing in Nigeria. Instagram doesn't pay at all. Small Nigerian comedians, pastors, and cooks have nowhere to grow. NaijaFlix gives them 50% ad revenue from day 1, even with 10 views.
WHAT MAKES NAIJAFLIX DIFFERENT FROM YOUTUBE AND TIKTOK?
1. 100% NIGERIAN FOCUS: We only promote Nigerian Gospel, Comedy, Nollywood and Cooking. No foreign content to distract viewers.
2. FREE FOR VIEWERS: No subscription. No data cost. Just click and watch.
3. FAST LOADING: 0.8 seconds load time. Even on 4G in Abuja, videos start instantly.
4. WHATSAPP OPTIMIZED: Every video link shows poster + title when shared. This increases clicks by 300%.
5. CREATOR FIRST: We approve creators in 24 hours. No 1000 subscriber rule like YouTube.
CURRENT VIDEOS ON NAIJAFLIX
As of August 2026, NaijaFlix has launched with 3 categories:
1. TALENT: "Hustle go pay" - A short film about grinding in Nigeria
2. GOSPEL/TALK: "Theophilus Sunday talking show" - Inspiration and worship
3. COOKING: "Cooking kitchen" - Learn how to cook Naija meals step by step
We are adding 2 new videos every week. Comedy and Nollywood categories are coming next.
HOW TO WATCH NAIJAFLIX FOR FREE
Step 1: Go to https://naijaflix.site
Step 2: Click any video you like
Step 3: Watch. No login. No payment. No data stress.
Share the link with friends on WhatsApp. The link will show the movie poster automatically.
HOW DO CREATORS EARN ON NAIJAFLIX?
We believe Nigerian creators deserve to be paid. That is why NaijaFlix offers a 50/50 ad revenue share. When we place ads inside videos, the creator gets 50% and NaijaFlix gets 50%. This creates a win-win for everyone.
Creators can upload:
- Gospel and Sermon videos
- Comedy skits and Talk shows
- Nollywood short films and movies
- Cooking tutorials and recipes
- Talent shows and music videos
HOW FAST AND RELIABLE IS NAIJAFLIX?
Speed matters in Nigeria. That is why we built NaijaFlix on Cloudflare. Our average page load time is 0.8 seconds. 64% of users rate our site as "Good" for speed.
We also fixed WhatsApp sharing. Now when you share any NaijaFlix movie link, WhatsApp will show the correct movie poster and title. This makes it easy for creators to promote their work.
We have also submitted our sitemap to Google Search Console. This means NaijaFlix movies will start appearing on Google when people search for "free Nigerian movies online" or "watch gospel videos free".
WHY NAIJAFLIX MATTERS NOW
Nigeria has over 200 million people and a huge appetite for local content. But most platforms are too expensive for the average Nigerian. NaijaFlix removes that barrier.
In our first 24 hours, NaijaFlix recorded 41 visits from Nigeria, USA, Canada and China. This shows the diaspora also wants access to Naija content.
